Doing Layouts:
When determing
what rail length to use always se dimension "B"
which is center of colum to center of cloum. This dimension
gives you the true dimension for length of rail.
If the application
is a very tight fit then you must measure from outside to
outside ofbase plates(Dimension "C")
An option
for extremely tight fits is to have the colums offset and
moved to the outside edges of the base plates or place in
the comers of the base plates.
If you have
double or triple rail applications make sure you mutiply
the number of rails by 2 or 3 as applicable.
The layout
should reflect the requirement of spacing the protection
equipment a minimum of 12" in front of the item being
protected.
Installation
Guard rails
and other protection equipment must be installed carefully
according to instructions provided with the protection equipment
to ensure effective protection for property and personnel.
Most critical
is ensuring that all connections are made tight and secure
according to the installation instructions.
Ensure that
qualified personnel are used to install floor anchors and
to connecdt rails to columns.
